What is SailPass?

Sail Pass enables temporary membership of MHASC for sailors who are not a current sailing member of another Australian Sailing affiliated club. This also offers Australian Sailing Personal Injury Insurance cover for club event dates that you nominate.

Conditions for the insurance cover:

  • the member must be registered and financial with the club.
  • only valid for club organised events days.
  • only valid on the day nominated by the member (at least one day prior to the event).
Do I need a SailPass at MHASC?

If you are not a member of another Australian Sailing affiliated club you need a SailPass to participate in club organised events (including Learn to Race) and you must nominate the date of the event(s) you participate in.

Anyone who is a MHASC Member or a sailing member of another Australian Sailing affiliated club has Personal Injury Insurance cover as part of their membership provided they are registered and financial members. They do not need a SailPass.
