Commodore Frank reports:
After discovering active termites and rotted floor framing, the extended working bee has resulted in a NEW LOOK clubhouse with “inside-outside continuous flow” preparing the outer deck for more social activities.
We now have a new door out to the deck, new flooring, new floor support framing and some eight new steel posts guarding the grassed rigging area (no photos available).
Thanks to all who attended. Particularly to Nee Plendeleith, who deputised for Stuart, and produced a splendid Thai Chicken Massaman curry for Sunday lunch. Enjoyed and appreciated.
It is just the beginning…….
Those who couldn’t make it this weekend will no doubt get another chance in the near future.
