The easiest way to make a start about joining sailing at MHASC is to contact us or visit the Club and talk about the options:

  • Contact us via the club’s email address or contact Commodore Graham Jennings on 0417 061 634.
  • You are welcome to visit the club during the sailing season (September to May) on a Sunday morning (well before racing). You can have a look around, talk to members, ask questions. Just check the Race Calendar on the website to make sure we have racing on that day.

The club house is accessed from the Spit West Reserve Car Park located at the end of the ‘No Through Road’ laneway behind Middle Harbour Yacht Club. Click here for the MHASC location.
To participate in MHASC activities the club offers two membership options;

  • ‘Member’ – join as a Member and start racing straight away. As a full club member you have access to all the facilities that are on offer from regular racing, boat storage, Australian Sailing Personal Injury Insurance cover, and more.
  • ‘Sail Pass’ (Temporary Member) – enables visitors to register for participation in ILCA sailing activities (including Learn to Race, use of a Club ILCA) for a limited period before committing to ‘Membership’. Click here for further details on ‘SailPass’.

Visitors from other ILCA clubs (including overseas) should contact us for arrangements to participate (including the Temporary Member option).

This website and the Members Handbook are essential sources for further information.  The Handbook includes the Club Member Terms & Conditions.

It is easy to register and apply to become a Member or Temporary Member through Australian Sailing’s RevSports portal.
